Welcome to the Farnborough & District Radio Society

The Farnborough & District Radio Society (FDRS) is a club for Radio Amateurs and Short Wave Listeners in and around Farnborough, Hampshire. If you have an interest in radio we would be delighted to see you at our club, which meets at 7:30 for 8:00pm every 2nd and 4th Wednesday in the month at the Farnborough Community Centre, Meudon Avenue, Farnborough.

Existing amateurs are welcome to call in to one of the Club Nets:

  • Eighty Metre slow speed Morse Net Mondays at 13:00 hours on 3570kHz (Various Club Members)

  • Slow speed CW. Every Wednesday when there is no club meeting 8pm on 1995 kHz

  • Top Band Net: Mondays at 8:00pm on 1995kHz LSB G2DX

  • Two Metre Net: Fridays at 8:00pm on 144.675MHz FM G6FRS

Training courses:
We regularly run training courses and hold exams for amateur radio licences. Details
