This Year's NFD was a great social event. The weather was good especially
on Saturday.
Operation was from our HF contest site near the Hog's Back using
the call G2DX/P
Like last year we entered the low power section. This limits the power
to 10watts which means that the station could run off batteries and
restricts the operating time to 12hours.
We had 267 QSO's an excellent result considering our aim was to
have fun rather than attempt to win!
Many thanks to all those who helped and a special thanks goes to the
Wey Valley Amateur Radio Group who supported us with their CW operators.
We also ran the operating section of our Foundation Course at the same
time which which allowed our students to see the contest station in
operation.
Please browse through the photographs of the event, apologies to all
those, and there are many who not included.
