Radio Amateur Exam Successes at FDRS

So far this year FDRS examination candidates have been 100% successful (10 examinations have been passed, 5 x Foundation and 5 x Intermediate)

Congratulations to the successful candidates and our thanks go the all those involved with the courses

Footnote: On 18th December 2008 we ran a Foundation examination, which resulted in 2 more passes

With a bit of gentle persuasion, the RSGB managed to get their 'pass' confirmation to Ofcom in time for them both to get their new Call Signs for Christmas

At ten years Tom may be our youngest ever licensee. By the new year he was out operating HF portable and managed an SSB QRP exchange of New Years greetings with a Station in Agadir, Morocco. we are expecting great things of him on this year's Back Packer competitions.
