FDRS wins this year's Hernia cup.
In a fiercely fought battle FDRS were victorious. Beating
experts from the Wey Valley Amateur Radio Group, Guildford and District
Radio Society, Hogs Back Amateur Radio Club, Dorking Radio Society and the
Echelford Amateur Radio Society.
The annual quiz is open to all amateur radio clubs
in the area.
About forty radio amateurs from six radio clubs competed.
This years venue was the Wey Valley Amateur Radio Group headquarters at
the Guildford Rowing Club in Surrey.
Our thanks go to the Wey Valley Amateur Radio Group for organising this
year's event and for the excellent hospitality they provided. Congratulations
to our winning team of G0VYR, G0YYY, G1LKJ and G3HEJ.
