VHF Field Day

The Club entered VHF Field Day on the 1/2nd July with 2m and 70cm stations. We also informally had 23cm part of the time. Conditions were more difficult than last year, with less DX. Contacts were made to Denmark, France and Holland as well as more local contacts in the UK.

Thanks to everyone who helped with the event, in particular Colin G8BCO for providing most of the antennas, John G0LVR for providing facilities and Graham G3TJI for arranging the site. Further thanks to all those who operated, in particular Fred 2E0BBY who put in a fair bit of time on 70cm.
