NFD 6/7 June 2009
FDRS entered the 12 hour QRP (10 watts) section
this year, operating from a location
just below the crest of the Hogs Back using the Club's callsign
of G4FRS/P.
We were active 4-12pm on Saturday 6th June, & 10am-2pm
Sunday 7th June
Equipment consisted of an Elecraft K2 and a Shortened 132 ft ''Windom'' coax-fed Antenna
Operators were G3HEJ, M3OSP and G3OFA
Our thanks go to G8BCO, G3TJI, G7BCS and 2E0BBY
for their magnificent 'logistics' support
We had a total of 240 QSO's which is
significantly more than last year.
