VHF National Field Day 1400 GMT Saturday 4th July to 1400 GMT Sunday 5 July.2009

Operation was on 6M, 2M, 70cm and 23 cm. from the Longdown site on the Hogs Back, using the call G6FRS.  6M was the most successful band with good Sporadic E openings. We had many QSO's with stations in Southern  Europe and one with North Africa.  
3 Scottish stations were worked on 2M.
